GENERAL TERMS

When placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions. Do not place an order if you do not agree to the terms.

You agree that you have read, understand and agree to all of the terms listed below:

1.

How long will it take to produce my caricature?

We aim to complete all caricatures within 5 working days although we usually complete them a lot quicker. We do NOT guarantee a delivery date unless agreed upon in advance.

2.

How do I send you the photograph?

Photos can be sent via e-mail to sales@drawme.co.uk or by post. Please refer to our 'Contact Us' page.

3.

What type of photograph is required?

A good head and shoulders shot is definitely required. A photo taken with a digitial camera is usually best although we can scan photos for you. Blurry, small or dark photos are not good and usually mean that we can't complete the caricature.

Note that we draw to the photograph sent - we do not see the person in 3D - we do not know what they look like when they smile, when they laugh etc - we can only draw to the photo. You agree to receive an artists impression from the photo and that the caricature is NOT a portrait. As such you are not able to claim a refund if you feel that the caricature does not resemble the person.

If you require amendments to the face then this will incure a redraw fee of £16 per person. This request must be made during the approval stage otherwise a reprint fee will also apply.

4.

What do I put in the description?

Your description must include what you want in the caricature. Although we are happy to add items afterwards this will incur a fee for redraw and additional print and postage. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we feel that you have been excessive in your description.

5.

Why do I have to pay up-front?

We are unable to use the caricatures for other customers and hence payment must be made up-front. Have a look at the gallery, we are confident that you will notice the quality of our goods.

6.

What do I receive?

This depends on the package ordered. The caricature will either be e-mailed to you or printed onto A3 Premium Glossy Paper. Framed prints arrive in a brushed aluminium A3 frame.

Your caricature will be a drawing based on the supplied photograph and will be very similar to the photograph. We do NOT produce extorted features unless SPECIFICALLY requested in the description. As you can see from our feedback we produce caricatures with good photo likeness. Note, however, that we are producing an artists impression of the person and not a portrait. As such you agree to accept the drawing as produced by the artist and can not claim a refund under any circumstances.

Drawings are completed by hand on to a computer graphics program using an electronic pen and graphics tablet. This allows for easy manipulation and very good likeness.

Orders for an e-mail only version will be supplied in JPEG format at a resolution of 150DPI suitable for printing at A4 size. If you require a different resolution then this must be specified at the time of order. An additional fee may be payable.

If you require a special size or bulk quantities then please get in touch with us.

7.

I want a refund.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations we are NOT obliged to provide a refund for personalised items - which a caricature obviously is. We will redraw the caricature from another photo if you are unhappy but this will incur a redraw fee. As you can see from our feedback we produce caricatures with good photo likeness.

Under all circumstances you agree to waiver your right to a refund once your order has been accepted.
